About Us

This journey began with my beloved cat, Benito. 

When he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, my world shifted in ways I never expected. Suddenly, something as simple as feeding him became the most difficult part of my day. He needed specialised food to support his kidneys, but like many of our furry friends, Benito had very strong opinions about what he wanted to eat. Time after time, he would sniff, assess, and walk away from pouch after pouch, leaving me feeling helpless.

It was disheartening to realise that renal food only comes in multipacks, ten/twelve pouches at a time. Each flavour he rejected meant more wasted food, more wasted money, and a growing stack of pouches that he'd never touch. Meanwhile, he remained there, still hungry and waiting, and it broke my heart to see him suffer.

I searched high and low for a solution, something that would allow me to try smaller amounts of food first, so I could discover what he would actually enjoy eating without committing to a whole box. Unfortunately, I found nothing that met our needs. 

Out of necessity and love for my little companion, I decided to take matters into my own hands and build a solution myself.
